It depends on the model and part availability. We'll give you a clear timeframe when we assess it.
Can you replace just one key?
Often, yes. If only a keycap is missing or damaged we can sometimes replace just that. We'll tell you what makes sense once we've had a look.
I spilled a drink on my laptop. What should I do?
Turn it off, don't charge it, and bring it in as soon as possible. The sooner we see it, the better the chances.
Do you fix school laptops?
Yes. Keyboards are one of the most common school laptop repairs we see.
Will I lose my data?
No. Replacing the keyboard doesn't touch your storage. We still recommend a backup before any repair.
